Rachel Bilby

Rachel is a speech and language therapist in Auckland who completed her Master of Speech Pathology at Macquarie University, Sydney.  She has gained extensive experience from working in clinics across Australia and New Zealand.

In her work in the disability sector in Sydney she provided support for adults and children with complex communication and swallowing needs. After arriving back in New Zealand in 2021, Rachel worked for the Ministry of Education in South Auckland where she has enjoyed working alongside ECE centres, schools, and whānau to support children to achieve their speech, language, and social communication development goals.

She is particularly passionate about providing neurodivergent-affirming services to her clients and advocating for accessible communication practices in education.

When not working at her Mt Eden clinic, Rachel can be found spending time with her three children, walking the family dog, Ranger, and producing ceramics in her home pottery studio.
