Educational Psychology Assessments

Our educational psychology assessments are run by our amazing Dr Jemila Chadwick, Educational Psychologist. Jemila has a wealth of experience assessing children’s and adults’ learning needs both in the United Kingdom and New Zealand. We assess children from the age of 6 upwards using Gold-Standard measures.

Dr Jemila Chadwick can assess children and young people using a range of cognitive, dynamic, and educational assessment tools.

She is interested in taking a person-centred approach to formulation and intervention. She believes each client is unique and aims to develop in-depth understanding of their individual needs.

Our cognitive and academic assessment service provides comprehensive evaluation and assessment of abilities, including cognitive and academic skills, to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses.

Intervention strategies are then recommended to help promote student success.

•    This service is available to children and young people aged 7 years or older (including young adults).
•    This may be appropriate if the student has been struggling with aspects of learning.
•    Usually children/young people have already accessed a programme of intervention, yet concerns continue regarding their academic progress.
•    The assessment can help identify a specific learning disability (dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia) or indicate an intellectual disability. It may help identify if the student would qualify for special assessment conditions (SAC). It can also identify intellectual giftedness.
•    We can work with university students to help identify barriers to learning and recommend accommodations and support.

Cost:
•    Cognitive Assessment (only) $900
•    Educational Assessment (cognitive & educational) $1695

All prices above are inclusive of GST.
